Andrés Silveira is the Chief Data, Product & Technology Officer (SVP) at Equifax Latin America, with more than 20 years of experience leading the financial, fintech, and retail industries through data, AI, and technology, driving digital transformation.
He holds a degree in Economics and Actuarial Sciences from the University of Buenos Aires. Early in his career, he worked at renowned companies such as IBM, Deloitte, Cencosud, and Grupo SEAC, where he gained a solid foundation in consulting, technology, and strategic management.
In 2015, Andrés joined Equifax as Director of Data & Analytics for Argentina, Uruguay, and Paraguay, leading innovation projects in analytic models and information management. His performance led him, in 2019, to assume the role of Vice President of Data & Analytics for Latin America, where he expanded his leadership across 10 countries in the region, including Chile, Argentina, Peru, Uruguay, Ecuador, Paraguay, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Honduras, and Mexico.
From this position, he drove value creation throughout the data, analytics, and technology chain, consolidating the adoption of Equifax’s Big Data platform, Ignite. He also spearheaded the company’s digital transformation to the cloud — considered the most significant project in the company’s last 20 years in the region. Thanks to this achievement, he was recognized in 2020 by Experis as one of the 50 leaders transforming technology in Chile.
In his current role as Chief Data, Product & Technology Officer and member of the Latin America Executive Board, Andrés leads teams of more than 1,000 specialists, from data engineers to regional executive directors, promoting an agile and collaborative approach between business and technology areas.
He is responsible for data governance and privacy across the region, as well as for research and the acquisition of new information sources to generate innovative insights and expand business opportunities through digital products.
His leadership style is characterized by fostering high-performance teams and constantly seeking creative business models that integrate data, technology, and innovation to transform customer and organizational experiences.
