Rogério Rabelo Peixoto has been with the Central Bank of Brazil for 28 years, working in areas such as information systems development, credit risk monitoring, and financial institution supervision.
Since 2012, he has led the Credit Information Division within the Information Monitoring Department. He is responsible for managing and evolving the Credit Registry and is currently overseeing the rollout of its third major version.
Rogério also represents the Central Bank of Brazil on the International Committee on Credit Reporting (ICCR) at the World Bank, a position he has held since 2012. He has provided consulting and training on credit information and credit risk monitoring in several countries, including Haiti, Cape Verde, Paraguay, São Tomé and Príncipe, El Salvador, Morocco, and Turkey.
He holds an MBA in Business Administration from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV) and a degree in Systems Analysis from the Pontifical Catholic University of Campinas.
